We use all-natural Rajasthani Henna mixed with a blend of essential oils,. We can also use Jagua paste, white “henna” and other various “colored” body paints. Please let us know if you have allergies to any oils.
You DO NOT need to be a member of any ethnic group or gender role to enjoy henna at your wedding or at any other time. At Kahani Events & Design, we believe enjoying a tradition and incorporating it into your own life is a beautiful thing.
Wedding Henna
Traditional wedding henna can be booked at an artist’s studio/home studio or at your home/hotel/venue. For hands and feet it will take 2 to 10 hours to complete, depending on the quantity and detail of the design. Price depends on whether you want a very fine, detailed & symmetrical design up to your knees and elbows, or if you want a bolder or flowy design to your ankles and wrists, or anything in-between. We provide a consult when you book wedding henna so we can discuss your specific desires and give you an accurate quote. We recommend booking weddings min. 6 months ahead to ensure availability for yourself and your wedding party. If your dates are holiday weekends (Memorial Day, Labor Day, Fourth of July), we recommend booking up to 12 months in advance.
All artists use natural henna only (No black henna), and colored body paints may also be requested.

Henna Parties
Whether you are having a Mehndi Night Party for your wedding, an Eid/Diwali/Holiday party, a Birthday party, an Anniversary celebration, a baby shower, or any other event - we can come to your home or venue. We use all-natural henna that is mixed fresh for each event and can also use colored temp tattoo products upon request (ex. glitter henna, white henna). Three hours/1 Artist is recommended for up to 30 people. For larger events, 2-3 artists may be ideal.

Henna Appointments
Henna appointments may also be booked for those wanting to get henna for any occasion, or none at all! Appointments slots are limited, and must be booked at least 2 weeks in advance. Contact us for availability.
