At Kahani, we offer a wide range of services ranging from just rentals to event design to complete wedding & event planning. Plus we offer henna and rangoli We realize the plans listed below are not going to fit everyone, and are more than happy to customize our plans to fit your needs. rentals only

We have a variety of hand-selected, ethnic wedding rentals. Make an appointment to view items at our warehouse in Minneapolis. Delivery & setup will be added to any larger items, smaller items may be picked up at our convenient location near the Minneapolis farmers market.

For weekend events (friday-sunday), a $1500 rental minimum will apply for peak season deliveries (memorial day through labor day).

Planning a culturally-specific or multicultural wedding is not an easy task - especially if you work full-time, live outside of your hometown, or may not be deeply connected to your communities, and or even your families!

At Kahani, we curate memorable cultural & multicultural weddings for our clients and their guests. We help balance any cultural traditions with your specific values & desires to create an event that reflects you as a couple, and takes the stress away of planning and organizing multiple days of food, entertainment, decor, and personal schedules. We want to help you to focus on the elements that will allow you to enjoy your time with your loved ones and create unique memories for all. Kahani creates the overall vision for your event by drawing from your story, finds the vendors who will best execute the vision, and manages the logistics and last minute needs for your wedding weekend.

You find your vendors, plan out your overall schedule, and we come in to smooth out the details so your day is left for you to enjoy and we are present to help make sure all goes to plan!

Investment: from $2500

Book 3-4 months before your date.

 

Vendor/planning consult

You have a limited budget and would like to DIY as much as possible, but you need some guidance on where to start, budgeting, vendors, etc.

1 hour general consult: Investment $100

 

step 1: understanding your needs (via survey)

step 2: chat in person/on zoom call to discuss plans, next steps, vendor requirements (1-2 vendors)

step 3: follow up with curated checklist and recommendations

 

Venue consult package: Investment $500 ($125 per addl. venues)

 

step 1: understand your needs (via survey & phone call)

step 2: send a curated list with recommendations of venues with availability for your preferred dates

step 3: setup and attend 4 venue visits with you to determine a best option

 

any vendor/planning consult fees may be applied to partial/full planning packages should it work for all parties to move forward with additional services.

 

Henna & Rangoli

Rangoli services start from $225 and include a custom creation for your event. Various mediums can be used including powders, chalk, flowers/petals, or paints.
