V & A planned a very last minute, but very elaborate & intimate wedding at a resort close to where they live.

They wanted to really bring in as much of India as they could to this rural location, and so we loaded up two whole truckloads for the weekend and made their dreams a reality!

V & A wanted the type of crazy, messy haldi event we love seeing pictures of, but actually don’t want to personally experience!! (Well, at least I don’t want to personally experience!!)

As they wanted both formal pictures and to get doused in haldi, AND because it ended up being a rainy day, we set up two areas.

Having a hose nearby was a must - not only for filling water, but to shower everyone and everything off!

We had done A’s bridal mehndhi before the festivities started, and then after the haldi had a mehndhi party setup for the guests!

Mehndhi & Haldi were not the only events of the day, after the mehndhi was done, guests proceeded to the main hall where we had the sangeet all setup! V&A opted for a very colorful look that coordinated with their bold & bright outfits!

The next morning it would be time for the wedding! The rain had stopped so we setup a beautiful mandap outside and added some vivid color to the chairs!
